My work explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and emerging technology. I am an architect of systems and worlds, developing long-form projects that merge model making, puppetry, and digital cinematography.
Rather than choosing between the digital and the physical, I use both. I build coherent universes that prioritize play, structure, and participation. My practice is rooted in “The Usability of Wonder”—creating imaginary spaces that feel internally logical, visually distinctive, and deeply immersive.

I approach every project as the engineering of an ecosystem. My workflow is a bridge between the workshop and the digital frontier:
The Physical Foundation: Every world begins with tangible materials. I use sketching, prototyping, and hands-on experimentation to build physical models and puppets. This ensures the “DNA” of the world is grounded in real-world textures, lighting, and mechanics.
Neural Animation: I translate these physical forms into digital cinema using advanced AI video models. This hybrid process allows the grit and “soul” of practical effects to meet the fluid storytelling possibilities of modern technology.
Story Logic: Beyond the visuals, I design the underlying systems. Whether it’s a rule-set for a game or a modular narrative framework, I focus on creating structures that remain coherent while allowing for variation and audience growth.
My practice is built on thirty-five years of technical mastery in the entertainment industry, bridging the gap between “the machine” and “the magic.”
Technical Production & Stage Craft: I began my career in the professional theatre, film, and TV industries. As a stage technician and set builder, I mastered the technology of entertainment—from mechanical rigging to atmospheric lighting. This foundation ensures my creative visions are backed by professional-grade execution.
Scenography & Special Effects: With a degree in Theatre Design and specialized training in Special Effects character design, I specialize in the integration of visual and narrative elements. I don’t just design “puppets and backgrounds”; I design active environments that support complex, evolving stories.
Strategic Facilitation: My background in education and teambuilding allows me to distill complex systems into accessible experiences. I build “Participation Architectures” that invite the audience to become part of the world-building and storytelling process
